PASCAGOULA, Miss. – The U.S. Coast Guard’s second National Security Cutter, Waesche, makes waves during acceptance trials off the Mississippi Gulf Coast from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, 2009. The Coast Guard and U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey conducted the trials prior to the government taking ownership of the ship, using trial cards to note discrepancies.
